Students learn about report format components, utilizing them to facilitate reader access and comprehension; communicate effectively and clearly with reader(s) by addressing leader concerns, needs, and interests; and analyze and develop a clear and appropriate structure that facilitates reading and comprehension.

What you will learn

  • Understanding the purpose of the components of the report format and using these in a manner that facilitates reader access and comprehension
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with reader(s) as a result of addressing reader concerns, needs, and interests
  • Analyzing and developing a clear and appropriate structure to facilitate reading and comprehension
  • Selecting the writing style most appropriate for the report
  • Creating reports which follow the conventions of correct grammar, spelling, mechanics, and punctuation.
