This course focuses on introducing students to employment in Canadian business and prepares them for both work and their work practicum placement. Students will learn current workplace hiring techniques, social media, self-marketing, and branding, as well as developing their own online media presence, verbal skills, written work, and presentation skills. Students will learn skills and techniques necessary to obtaining a successful workplace practicum placement.
