This foundational course introduces students to the basic windows interface and medical document processing. Students develop critical thinking skills by further expanding their knowledge and understanding of system-specific medical abbreviations, diagnostic term and procedures, medical homonyms; applying this knowledge in editing medical reports according to established guidelines set out by employers.
