The practicum includes:
-Weekly communication 1:1 with your instructor
-Study and taking of the RWM (Remote Work Manager) exam.
-Writing a 750- 1,000 word (roughly 3 pages) paper on how you will next work to implement or improve your management of remote work.

Available and included in the Certified Remote Work Manager program.

What you will learn

  • Unit 1
    Remote Work Study Guide

    Reviewing key points in the study guide
    Asking for any clarification needed
    Reviewing any materials from the first two courses.
    Weekly 1:1 communication with the instructor.
  • Unit 2
    Current Trends in Managing Remote Work

    Overview of latest changes and news in remote work
    Latest statistics and trendlines
    Any other authoritative resources on remote work this past year
    Weekly 1:1 communication with the instructor.
  • Unit 3
    A Plan for Managing Remote Work

    Write a 750 – 1,000 word paper. Extensions are available subject to your schedule.
    Include sections and references to the learning in class.
    Create a plan for your next level of managing remote work, either establishing it or improving it.
    Weekly 1:1 communication with the instructor.
  • Unit 4
    Take the Exam

    Study no more than 5 -10 hours.
    Exam questions come from the topics in the Study Guide
    The exam is online, generally on Tuesday morning. Extensions are available subject to your schedule.
    Get a proctor to verify you are taking the exam on your own.
