This course will enable the learner to further develop knowledge, skills and attitudes for the provision of culturally safe and relevant dental hygiene care. An exploration of areas of professional responsibility, the integration of evidence-informed practice, critical thinking and advanced periodontal strategies, and concepts of evaluation will prepare the learner for the provision of care and advocacy for clients with complex needs and individuals with health inequities throughout the lifespan.
