Before applying to VCC, you’ll need to meet specific admission requirements. These vary depending on where you completed high school and the program you’re applying for.
British Columbia and Yukon students
Graduates from BC and Yukon high schools must meet minimum English, math, and science grade requirements. Requirements vary by program.
Students from other Canadian provinces
If you graduated outside BC or Yukon, you can meet requirements through provincial course equivalents. Check which subjects and grades are accepted.
International high school graduates
International applicants must meet equivalent subject and grade standards as domestic students. Additional proof of English proficiency is also required.
Non-academic requirements
Some programs require more than high school courses. This may include a criminal record check, TB screening, immunizations, or first aid certification.
