Chef’s Table at JJ’s restaurant

Chef’s Table is a Table d’Hôte dinner service that runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m, Tuesday to Thursday. All courses are served to all diners at the same time, in the same sequence.

Menu and price
Price: $60 per person, $22 optional wine pairings
The menu is subject to change without notice.

Dining details
Seating time: 6:30 p.m. (one seating per day)
Late arrivals will receive the course that is being served at that time. Any previous courses will be served to the guests in between remaining courses.
Dinner service ends at exactly 8:30 p.m. and the dining room will be closed. Please respect the closing time. The students must reset the room for the morning classes before going home at the end of class.
Enjoy a gourmet five-course prix-fix menu designed by Chef Hamid Salimian with optional selected wine pairings, served in a unique long-table group setting in VCC’s JJ’s Restaurant.

Dietary restrictions
With advanced notice, we may accommodate dietary restrictions via culinaryarts@vcc.ca. However, we are first and foremost a teaching kitchen; the student learning objectives and outcomes are our priority. Possible accommodations are restricted to ingredient substitutions and omissions on existing menu items.
