The Assessment Centre delivers in-person English, Math, and Keyboarding assessments for VCC program admissions and academic upgrading placement. These assessments can be used for admission to VCC only.

Cost
Each assessment has a set fee that must be paid when you book. Costs vary depending on the type of assessment and are non-refundable. Check below to find the fee for your assessment.
Retake an assessment
If you don’t meet the required score, you may be able to retake the assessment after a waiting period. The waiting period and number of attempts allowed depend on the type of assessment.
Ready to book an assessment?
Before booking, make sure you have:
- Your VCC ID number (assessments are for VCC programs only)
- The program or course name you are applying to
- The name of the assessment you need
- An understanding that completing an assessment does not guarantee admission to VCC programs or courses
