VCC is proud to offer Entrance Awards to new students starting select programs in January 2026 or Fall 2026. These awards help make your first year more affordable, with tuition support ranging from $500 to $4,000.
Entrance Awards are funded by the VCC Foundation to make education more accessible and to support students entering high-demand fields such as trades, hospitality, technology, and early childhood education. Entrance awards are applied directly to your tuition during your first two semesters.
Types of entrance awards
- VCC Entrance Award (for domestic students in eligible programs only) Amount: $500 to $4,000, depending on the program. Awards over $500 are split into two tuition credits across the first two semesters.
- Indigenous Student Entrance Award (for students in any program) Amount: $2,500, issued as $1,250 per semester in the first year.

The following programs are offering Entrance Awards in 2026. Apply early for the best chance of receiving an award, as funds are limited.

How to apply
Applying for an Entrance Award is simple:
- Apply to one of the eligible programs
- Accept your offer of admission
- Receive your tuition award automatically (until all awards are claimed)
No separate application form is required.
Students who accept their offer of admission for the January 2026 or Fall 2026 term will automatically receive the tuition award until all are claimed
