The next Student Awards ceremony will take place in spring 2026.
Why we give
Twice a year, we come together to celebrate student success at VCC’s Student Awards ceremonies. These events recognize students who shine in their studies, show leadership, and give back to their communities.
This celebration is possible thanks to the generous donors who support VCC students through the VCC Foundation.
How to RSVP
The next Student Awards ceremony will be held in spring 2026. If you are an award recipient, you will receive an email invitation in April or May with instructions on how to RSVP.
Update your student profile
Before the ceremony, please log in to myVCC.ca and make sure your Social Insurance Number is on file. We need this information to issue your award.
We’ll notify recipients by email a month before the ceremony.
Awards may be in the form of a cheque, tuition credit, gift card, or membership. After the ceremony, award funds are transferred to your VCC student email
Each recipient may bring up to two guests. Seating is festival-style and not assigned. Some guests may need to stand. If you or your guests need accessibility support, please email awards@vcc.ca.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony to check in and get seated.

Award funds will be emailed and transferred to your VCC student email on the day of the ceremony. Certificates can be picked up at the Broadway campus Financial Aid office after the ceremony. If you can’t make it in person, email financialaid@vcc.ca or call 604.871.7046 to arrange mailing.
Bios are read aloud during the ceremony. Keep it short (190 characters or less), in third-person, and include your goals, achievements, and who you’d like to thank.
