Scholarships, bursaries, and awards help students move forward with fewer financial barriers and greater motivation. They’re made possible by individuals, businesses, and foundations who believe in access, achievement, and opportunity.
We work closely with donors to create meaningful awards that reflect their values and goals. Whether honouring a loved one or investing in the future, your support makes a lasting impact.
Types of awards

Way to fund an award
Named endowed awards: A donation of $20,000 or more creates a permanent award fund, named in honour of you or someone meaningful to you. These funds generate annual awards based on investment performance.
Estimated annual award amounts
- $20,000 → $700
- $25,000 → $875
- $50,000 → $1,750
Funds are invested for at least one year before the first award is granted. Donors may add an initial gift to begin the award sooner.
Named annual awards: A minimum annual gift of $500, pledged for three years or more, provides immediate support to students. You choose the amount and frequency of your gift.
Emergency bursaries
The Emergency Bursary Fund supports VCC students facing unexpected financial challenges, helping them stay on track with their education.
