Admission Requirement

  • Knowledge of information technology (IT) as demonstrated by one of the following:
    • Successful completion of a diploma or degree in an information technology (IT) specific field 
      or
    • Evidence of an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and industry experience in IT, as determined by the department 
  • International students must demonstrate knowledge of English through one of the following:
    • English Studies 12 with a minimum ‘C’ grade, or equivalent
      or
    • English Language Proficiency at a minimum English 12 ‘C’ level

Recommended Characteristics

This program is suited for students who wish to further their technical skills in network security. Students should have:

  • an interest in keeping their technical skills up-to-date. 
  • an interest in cyber security, digital forensics, and business administration
  • good communication, research, and planning skills
  • experience or knowledge of computer network operations
