You will engage in practical interview simulations, honing your ability to confidently articulate your experience and problem-solving skills. Workforce Integration will also provide you with the financial literacy and vital self-care practices essential for a thriving freelance costuming career.

  • Union membership checklist, experience, portfolio and sewing samples
  • Day Calls
  • Professionalizing industry behaviour, diversity and inclusion
  • Self-care
  • Team building, finding allies, and managing boundaries
  • Tailoring verbal and non-verbal communication skills to fit costume departments specific demands
  • Reflecting on personal communication and leadership styles within the film costuming context
  • Designing ways to maintain morale and motivation in the costume department
