This Teaching Essentials for Adult Learners (TEAL) workshop is designed to help guide industry experts in a variety of roles as they transition to a teaching role in a post-secondary context. Through hands-on activities, independent research, collaboration with colleagues, and teaching practice, participants will examine and demonstrate the skills, knowledge, characteristics, and attitudes that support a successful teaching and learning experience. This workshop includes asynchronous and synchronous sessions, and covers a variety of topics to introduce participants to best practices in adult learning.
