This course provides a select group of students an opportunity to participate and collaborate with gastronomy students at the University of Colima in Manzanillo, Mexico. Students will pilot the culinary Virtual Reality offerings to intercultural student groups in virtual and in-person settings to determine what additional techniques, interactive recipes, and immersive experiences can be developed to leverage this technology and Identify current and future course content (UCOL and VCC) that would benefit from conversion into Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) opportunities. This course will encourage intercultural communication and collaboration, for both students and teachers, through virtual and in-person settings in order to amplify the impact of academic internationalization.
