Fundamentals of Leadership is designed to expand the skills, tools and behaviours that students will require to confidently carry out the responsibilities of their role whether it is in a formal or informal leadership capacity.

- Leadership Principles and Practices - Definition of Leadership, Managing and Administration
- Working with Teams – the ability for teams to work together interdependently and cooperatively to accomplish a specific set of goals and commitments
- Coaching skills for leaders
- From Conflict to Collaboration – building cohesive relationships that are able to healthy conflict conversations and collaborate on reaching organization goals.
- Getting work done through others – delegating and allowing others to develop to best of their potential.
- Decision Making – learning different types of decision making tools to solve problems and finding alternative solutions to complex issues
- Managing Change - Overview of change and transition
- Culture and Climate in an organization - building trust, psychological safety, diversity and inclusivity
- Resiliency – knowing oneself, leading from purpose and continually learning builds resiliency, which is required to lead successfully in complex times
