In this course students learn the theory and the application of infection prevention and control in a Denturist practice setting. The focus is on physical, chemical and personal protective device barriers to prevent the transmission of pathogens. Students learn how specific saliva or blood borne or other dentistry-related pathogen transmission can be prevented or controlled.
