This theory and laboratory course expands upon information and techniques for the design, fabrication, modification and repair of multiple unit restorations from Fixed Prosthetics 2. Students learn to fabricate various types of restorations such as metal, porcelain fused to metal (PFM) and All Ceramic crowns. Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacture (CAD-CAM) techniques are applied to the fabrication of single and multiple unit fixed prosthesis.

What you will learn
- Single and multiple unit fixed restorations following a dentists' prescription; in a simulation laboratory environment
- Cosmetic dentistry concepts: aesthetics, form and function
- Dentist/Patient/Technician communications:Rx, Photography, and case planning analysis
- Design, fabrication and modification of provisional prosthetics (crowns, bridges)
- Principles and techniques relating to the design, fabrication and function of All Ceramic restorations
- Analyze, design and fabricate Implant supported Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufactured (CAD CAM) fixed restorations
