Psychology 0991 is a survey course examining the broad field of psychology. In this course, topics include critical thinking and the scientific method as it relates to the field of psychology and an overview of the discipline. This course introduces students to emotion, stress and health, learning theory, memory, thinking and intelligence, motivation, social and cultural psychology, and personality and individual differences.
PSYC 0981 and PSYC 0991 can be taken in either order.
Both PSYC 0981 and PSYC 0991 are required for completion of ABE Provincial level Psychology.
Prerequisites
Completion of or current enrollment in English 11 or equivalent.
