This 6 hour practical course introduces how to tutor English to speakers of other languages. This course covers a range of topics including the role of the tutor of ESOL, how to lesson plan for specific students, and how to market one's self as a tutor. Note: Students who have taken VCC's Homefront training (TUTR 1010) are eligible for elective credit for this course.
